The Love Letter Response Workshop
When: Thursday 14 September, 10.00am - 12.00pm
Where: MAMA, 546 Dean Street, Albury
“How does this artwork fit into the story of you?”
The goal of this workshop is to establish a personal relationship between art and its audience. Participants will move, bend, freeze, hoot, talk, and draw to generate an intimate vocabulary with the work on display. It all culminates with a letter of love or scorn to the artwork of your choosing.
No need to book, just arrive with an open mind and comfy clothes.
This workshop was initially developed by Suzanne Seesman and Matt Kalasky for The St.Claire—an online arts journal and organization based in Philadelphia. The workshop was further developed by Kalasky at The Galleries at Moore College of Art & Design, Philadelphia.
