Thursday 6 December

Join local artist Margaret Sprouster as we celebrate the opening night of her solo exhibition in Brindley Family Galleries, in the first of our Summer Thursday evenings.

Thursday 13 December

On the final Twilight Markets of the year in QEII Square, MAMA will be unveiling its new experimental architecture project, Summer Place. Architect Raffaello Rosselli will be onsite at Summer Place to meet the the public and host an informal Q&A.

Thursday 20 December

On our final Summer Thursday for the year, we shine a spotlight on the talented local makers and artists in MAMA Store as we join in the fun of Christmas in the Lane, and host a handmade gift wrap workshop.

Thursday 27 December

MAMA will be open until 7pm, however, no special activity will be taking place this week.

To celebrate the tradition of outlaw narratives in Australian arts, MAMA is hosting an Outlaw Film Festival, featuring classic Australian films that paint a picture of the unlikely hero. Each film will be briefly introduced prior to screening. 
Films will be screened in the Paul Ramsay Galleries in the theatrette currently screening The Story of the Ned Kelly Gang (1906).
