QEII is now a regional city arts campus with seven education and community rooms and links to civic, commercial, entertainment and service infrastructure.
QEII has the space and culture to inspire to creativity with guidance from qualified gallery professionals. It can also provide a strong and vibrant range of curriculum based workshops, tours lectures and information as well as targeted workshops, artist talks, multimedia presentations and events.
MAMA offers educational and lifelong learning opportunities including a resource for art education and vocational guidance. Training includes student experiences both at the gallery and in the classroom, teacher development programs and materials, distance learning opportunities and virtual exhibits online.
MAMA hopes to partner with other organisations, universities and schools to bring the visual art curriculum into the classroom with innovative educational programs.
