Enjoy an introduction to acrylic painting in this 4-week course for beginners, learning how to paint portraits, landscapes, household items and more.

Led by local tutor and artist Robyn White, this class will take you step-by-step from planning a painting, using new skills to get paint on the canvas, all the way to finishing your own masterpieces.

What you will learn:

  • Students will build confidence and explore different elements such as colour mixing, composition, value, depth, line and shape.
  • The sessions will include still-life, landscape, portraiture and abstraction as focus areas.
  • Once you have completed this introductory course, you will have a solid overview of acrylic painting and utilise your skills in new artworks.
