In 2015, artist Calista Lyon created Living Home, an extensive photographic project capturing the entire community of Tallangatta Valley, her childhood home.
A Continued Conversation builded upon this work by inviting active participation from those featured in the photographs. This exhibition enabled a connection to form between participants and allowed them to interact and connect with each other.
In this work, Lyon highlighted the social and economic pressures being experienced in rural communities. It is her hope this creative project could provide a vehicle for connection and conversation around these issues, both with the photographed participants, and those who visited this exhibition at MAMA.
