Art works of this significance are costly to exhibit. While museum entry is always free, MAMA has historically put a cover charge on one major exhibition per year to help partially recover costs.
Past ticketed exhibitions include Marilyn: Celebrating an American Icon, SPEED: The Fast and the Curious and Archibald Prize 2017.
However, this year MAMA has been able to secure sponsorship from a group of community sponsors.
Karyn Ford, Acting Director is thrilled with the support. “As a result of this sponsorship, we’re very pleased to announce that we will not be ticketing this exhibition, it will be free of charge."
