Drop-in: Circus Creatures

Make an acrobatic creature inspired by David Archer’s artwork Flea Circus, 2008 found in Madeleine Steer's exhibition George Street on Level 1. Participants will use cardboard, fabric, tape and found objects to create their own circus animal sculpture. What tricks can you creature do? Will it be balancing on a wire or flying through the air?

Over three days, children and their grown-ups are invited to imagine, construct and decorate a unique artwork to take home. Inspired by our current Collection works on display, we’re celebrating our birthday through free hands-on activities that change each day.
