Join us for the opening of Merangkul, an exhibition featuring large-scale installation, sculpture and wearable art made from natural materials and upcycled objects.
Meaning ‘embracing’ in Bahasa Indonesia, Merangkul harnesses the textile process of felting to explore new connections to place. The works signify Ririn’s way of Merangkul (embracing) Australia and connecting to the land and to nature.
