MAMA is seeking people who are as bold as it is.

MAMA is calling for expressions of interest from artists to run programs for the public and from people who are willing to be life models and pose for art students.

Life models need to be willing to disrobe partly or fully so they can be drawn or painted by art students.

"We're seeking life models of all ages, shapes and sizes to join the MAMA team from the beginning."

Jacqui Hemsley, Director, Murray Art Museum Albury

Ms Hemsley continued, "You don't have to be a supermodel to be a life model. In fact, it's more interesting if you're shapely, older or have tatts to show off.

Ms Hemsley said life drawing was an important part of art studies and was done at most galleries and art museums, including at the former Albury Art Gallery.

MAMA is also seeking expressions of interest from traditional and contemporary artists, including painters, sculptors, jewellers, weavers, multimedia artists and crafts-people to run studio-based lessons in the MAMA education suite.
