Poet wants to meet you at MAMA
Polish-Australian poet Kylie Supski will perform at MAMA on Thursday 19 November as part of "Meet you at MAMA's" - a free series of gigs on Thursdays from 5-7pm.
The poet's inspiration comes from her personal experiences and all aspects of life. She loves words and truly believes in the power of words to change how people think.
MAMA director Jacqui Hemsley said: "An evening with Kylie Supski will be thought-provoking, wickedly funny and not for the faint-hearted. This event is strictly for over 18s."
The poet performs regularly all around Melbourne and uses art to speak out about global economic and political inequality, specifically the plight of refugees.
Kylie strongly believes that no one, not anyone has a right to tell us who we should be and how we should live our own life.
"I look forward to Kylie Supski performing at our 'Meet you at MAMA's' series, which is a great chance to gather, learn, laugh and appreciate art in all its forms."
