This workshop will equip you with a toolbox full of drawing ideas.

Try something new or loosen up your art style in this one-day workshop using new drawing mediums, tools and approaches led by local artist Mary-Rose Riley. Using a series of observation-based exercises, you'll leave this workshop with new skills to use in your own drawing practice.

Firm covered-toe shoes
Waterbottle
Clothes that can get dirty

Kitchen facilities are available for you to bring your own lunch, including a fridge, kettle, and microwave.

All materials are provided. Aprons are available, but please wear clothes appropriate for painting including closed-toe shoes.

Meet the Artist

Mary-Rose Riley is a visual artist based in North East Victoria whose practice spans many years. Her body of work encompasses observational drawing and painting, and in recent years has expanded to include sculpture and video.
