Tucked away in our memories are captured moments of uncertainty, fear, innocence, and not-quite-knowing.
This exhibition brought together a collection of artworks that stirred up lurking memories, bringing to the surface the shadowy recollections of our formative years.
With works drawn entirely from the MAMA collection, this exhibition was curated to coincide with Write Around the Murray 2016 with the Festival theme of 'Unsettling the Story: Memories and Imagination'.
The exhibition included works by Bill Henson and Tracey Moffatt, with each work stirring the imagination in strange and unsettling ways.
