Photo Editing
Stay warm, edit and organise your digital images this winter. Learn the language of image editing and photo manipulation and get creative to get the most out of your images.
Course Outcomes
- Basic image adjustments: colour correction, sharpening, cropping and removing distractions.
- Image organisation: How to keep your images safe, organised and easy to find.
- How to best prep your files for printing and sharing online
- Problem solving image imperfections
- Creative ways to use tools like Photoshop to make digital art.
What to bring
Students are required to bring a tablet or laptop computer, charger and extension cord.
Before attending the course please research the type of editing software that you would like to learn how to use. It is best to have it downloaded and installed on your computer before we start as internet at MAMA can be limited in group settings, however, we can do our best to help.

Meet the Tutor: Ben Eyles
Ben Eyles is an Albury-based teacher and photographer with decades of experience.
He taught the Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging and Certificate IV of Photography and Photo Imaging at Wodonga TAFE from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this, Ben worked as a staff photographer at the Border Mail where he was twice awarded the Best News Photograph of the Year.
His current work is split between his photography, and his other job as a teacher, trainer and product demonstrator with classroom technology company Promethean.
