Creative Cuddle with Sarah McEwan

Artist Julianne Piko leans over her work bench surrounded by art supplies and stares at the camera

Local creatives are invited to join Riverina-based artist Sarah McEwan for a guided sharing session about the highs and lows of the creative industry. Sarah will share insights to her new exhibition of paintings Unrequited Love (The Great Magpesis) and how these works personify her devotion to, and challenging relationship with, being an artist and working in the arts.

Sarah will then lead a participatory discussion that invites people to express their own experiences – frustrations, successes and learnings of having a creative practice. Participants will enjoy meeting an artist who is an advocate for fellow artists and collaborators in a space of solidarity and support.

Everyone is invited to stay on for the official opening at 5.30pm.
