Catherine Stewart: Common Ground

This new exhibition by Catherine Stewart maps the artist’s connections to the areas surrounding Lake Mungo where she was raised and North-East Victoria where she now lives and works. Through large scale painting and a suite of newly completed collaged works on paper, Stewart draws connections between these two dramatically different landscapes and shares the influence they continue to impress upon her work.

About the artist

Catherine Stewart is based in Wooragee, Victoria and exhibits regularly across Australia. She has previously held a solo exhibition at MAMA in 2018, after winning the MAMA Art Prize in 2016.
